What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare daily financial documents such as invoices and other relevant records.
• Account Reconciliation: Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure precise financial reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Month-End Close: Participate actively in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Report Generation: Help with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the accounting team to enhance financial processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field, with specific experience in bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail and accuracy; effective communication and interpersonal skills.
