• Mission: Own the accurate management and reporting of the fixed assets ledger to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Fixed Asset Management: Manage the fixed assets ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Asset Administration: Administer the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, retirements, and transfers.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of fixed asset accounts to maintain ledger integrity.
• Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to GAAP and applicable regulations in all fixed asset reporting activities.
• Audit Support: Provide necessary reports and schedules to support internal and external audit requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, providing foundational knowledge for an early career professional.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Skills: A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), coupled with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Bonus: Prior experience specifically involving fixed assets is preferred.
