Head of Safety Partnering | Ipsen

• Mission: Define and lead Ipsen’s global pharmacovigilance partnering strategy across a diverse commercial portfolio.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Development: Define, lead, and deploy Ipsen’s global Pharmacovigilance (PV) partnering strategy for commercial partners across the portfolio.
• Partnership Management: Oversee and be accountable for PV Agreements (PVA) and partnering with Ipsen commercial partners at the Global level.
• Governance & Oversight: Drive the oversight of commercial partners as part of the PV partnering governance structure, ensuring compliance with regulations and processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead internal alignment and communication of the PV partnering strategy and conduct negotiations with partners.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Safety Partnering team, ensuring appropriate resourcing, capability building, and performance management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, a related field, or business administration.
• Experience: Significant experience in pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry and extensive experience in global partnering environments with proven expertise in PV agreements.
• Skills: Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation experience; expertise in change management; solid understanding of global PV regulations and inspection readiness; and a collaborative mindset.
• Bonus: Robust experience with regulatory authority inspections and internal audits, either in industry, consulting, or health authority.
