What You’ll Actually Do
• Monthly Accounting: Perform comprehensive monthly accounting tasks, including processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
• Compensation Management: Calculate and prepare compensation accurately for contractual timekeepers.
• Financial Planning Support: Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives by supplying precise accounting data and analytical insights.
• Tax Reporting Assistance: Assist with the preparation of annual tax-related reporting specific to partner capital accounts.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate support for audits, which includes preparing necessary schedules and responding promptly to auditor requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundational understanding of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting principles.
• Experience: 1-2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines. Possess strong communication skills to interact professionally across various departments. Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Microsoft 365 and maintain the ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
