What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain: Assist in maintaining financial records for the organization.
• Prepare: Prepare various financial reports as required.
• Reconcile: Reconcile accounts and process financial transactions.
• Input: Input financial data and ensure compliance with established accounting standards.
• Analyze: Analyze financial statements and provide support to the senior accounting team in their daily tasks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. This role demands proficiency in basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, data entry, and the maintenance of financial records. Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and Excel is necessary.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective time management with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven setting. The ability to collaborate effectively and communicate financial concepts clearly.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in financial services or a related industry is a plus.
