Accounting Intern – Summer 2027 | Tokio Marine HCC

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Assist with the precise collection, recording, summarizing, and reporting of diverse accounting transactions.
• Customer Support: Collaborate effectively in the research and formulation of responses to inquiries from both internal departments and external customers.
• Project Assistance: Provide crucial ad hoc information and support as requested to aid ongoing work and special projects within the accounting department.
• Administrative Tasks: Execute various general clerical duties to ensure the smooth operation and efficient support of the accounting team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, demonstrating active enrollment or recent graduation from an accounting program. Candidates must have completed a minimum of 60 hours of general college coursework and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Possess and apply basic knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, established practices, and standard procedures in daily tasks.

• Communication: Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, consistently demonstrating an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Organization: Proven organizational and analytical skills for managing information and tasks efficiently.
