Specialty Trainee | Graybar

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Assignments: Successfully complete assigned rotational assignments to gain comprehensive knowledge and exposure to various business aspects.
• Specific Duties: Perform assigned job duties within the designated specialty area to develop a working understanding of all responsibilities.
• Training Completion: Accurately and timely complete assigned training, development activities, and educational programs, providing feedback for improvement.
• Project Participation: Participate in special projects and effectively manage tight deadlines as required.
• Business Understanding: Learn the company’s business fundamentals and demonstrate proficiency in the assigned specialty area.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School Diploma or GED required, with knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry.
• Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Skills: Oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities, and planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Bonus: A 4-year degree may be preferred depending on the specialty area, understanding of continuous improvement techniques, ability to work effectively with external customers, suppliers, and vendors if applicable, leadership skills, and flexibility to relocate.
