What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Immersion: Rotate through various departments, immersing in the business from a leadership viewpoint to understand Outside Sales, Production/Warehouse Management, Office Management, and Service Management.
• Sales Engagement: Engage in outside sales activities to promote products and services while actively building and nurturing customer relationships.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and assist in interpreting trends to make informed business decisions that contribute to overall company performance.
• Project Collaboration: Collaborate with key leaders on diverse projects related to sales management and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have, or will obtain, a Bachelor’s degree within six months. This is an entry-level role designed for professional development in business operations and leadership.
• Experience: No prior years of experience are strictly required. Candidates must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs, which includes possessing an active driver’s license, being at least 21 years of age, obtaining a DOT medical certification, and providing documentation regarding their previous employment.
• Skills: Requires developing aptitude for outside sales, customer relationship building, exceptional customer service, data analysis, collaborative project work, and understanding of operational efficiency.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include co-op or internship experience in customer service, sales, production, or administrative roles; a business or otherwise related academic major; a leadership/management role on campus or related extracurricular activities; and a willingness to relocate regionally during, or at the end of, the program.
