What You’ll Actually Do
• Closing Responsibilities: Perform monthly closing tasks related to sales and materials, then present the results to management.
• Budget Analysis: Conduct sales and materials analysis for six annual budget events, presenting the outcomes to management.
• Profit Analysis: Use analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to create detailed sales breakdowns and profit analyses.
• Pricing Quotes: Prepare accurate parts and unit pricing quotes.
• Variance Analysis: Perform analysis of material usage and sales price variances.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level role requiring a Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance, OR an Associate’s degree combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting-related job.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 2 years of experience with an associate’s degree, in an accounting-related field.
• Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and a cost accounting background are required, along with a general understanding of accounting functions, terminology, and the ability to apply accounting concepts. Candidates must also possess strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge.
