What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee: Supervise all facets of Non-Bank Financial Institution-related credit work and workflow control, including Credit Application and Borrower Rating commitments.
• Conduct: Perform forward-looking fundamental credit assessments on live transactions, limit renewals, and annual reviews in collaboration with relationship bankers.
• Lead: Drive new client approvals by establishing credit appetite, limits, ratings, performing due diligence, and negotiating credit terms for legal documentation.
• Structure: Negotiate and document new syndicated and bilateral loan transactions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Participate: Engage in complex or high-profile credit cases by swiftly identifying key issues, communicating salient points, and evaluating risk-reward trade-offs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Substantial experience evaluating insurance companies and NBFI portfolios within banking or asset management settings, underpinned by a degree-level education.
• Experience: Proven track record of credit analysis focused on transaction-driven environments where event-based assessments are paramount.
• Skills: Excellent understanding of loan documentation requirements, ISDA/CSA agreements, and market risk factors affecting NBFIs, coupled with technical proficiency in interpreting stress testing results.
• Bonus: Professional qualifications are highly desirable for candidates seeking advancement.
