The work done in this role directly enhances strategic investment planning, financial planning & analysis processes, improves cost visibility, and enables fact-based decision-making across vital IT and business functions.

• Team: Finance Business Partnering team within the Tech, Data, AI & Ventures (TDAV) Finance department
• Mission: Enhance strategic investment planning, financial planning & analysis processes, cost visibility, and enable fact-based decision-making across IT and business functions.
• Tech Stack: Apptio (Cost Transparency, Planning, Target Process modules), Tableau, Excel, Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, Workday Adaptive, ERP, CMDB, cloud billing, project tracking tools, GL, HR, cloud, on-prem IT data sources

What You’ll Actually Do
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strategic relationships with appropriate finance and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial and operational goals.
• Financial Management: Lead and support the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance and key business trends, developing insights and recommendations to drive performance.
• Model and Tool Enhancement: Maintain and improve financial models, tools, and reporting dashboards, supporting scenario planning and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Data Visibility: Build and enhance dashboards within Apptio or Tableau to communicate cost drivers, KPIs, and service consumption metrics, while also maintaining data dictionaries and IT cost transparency models.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, data/business analytics, or a related field, for a Corporate Vice President level role focusing on IT financial management.
• Experience: 8-12 years of experience in IT financial management, technology business management, finops, data analytics, cost accounting, or systems support roles, with hands-on experience with Apptio modules.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel, data integration, and financial modeling; strong analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent communication and presentation skills; and an understanding of IT service costing, cost allocation, and financial modeling concepts.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cost allocations, CapEx vs. OpEx distinctions, SaaS or technology business models, and experience working in matrixed or enterprise environments.
