Fall Intern, Accounting – Goldenvoice Venues | AEG

This is a Fall Internship at AEG, located in Los Angeles, CA. This internship offers college students a real-world experience, allowing them to learn the business of sports and live entertainment by supporting the Goldenvoice Venues accounting team.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (18 hours/week minimum)
• Location: In-person, Los Angeles, CA
• Pay: $19–$21 hourly
• Team: Accounting team for Goldenvoice Venues
• Mission: Support the Goldenvoice Venues accounting team through various account reconciliations and variance analysis to provide real-world experience in sports and live entertainment.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel), Smartsheet, Hubble

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Enter artist settlement documents and support account reconciliations.
• Payments Processing: Process Accounts Payable submissions and generate financial reports.
• Event Support: Assist with special event settlements and month-end data entry.
• Financial Reconciliation: Assist with ticket reconciliations.
• Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks for the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Data Analysis.
• Experience: Minimum commitment of 18 hours per week during the fall program.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; effective time management; ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• Bonus: Prior experience with Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet is preferred; desire to learn more about the entertainment industry.
