What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile multiple banking accounts: Accurately prepare and review reconciliations for various banking accounts to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are identified.
• Prepare and post standard and recurring journal entries: Create and input essential journal entries, including both routine and adjusting entries, to maintain accurate financial ledgers.
• Complete reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts: Perform thorough reconciliations for specific general ledger accounts, verifying balances and investigating any variances.
• Support the month-end close process: Actively assist the accounting team in executing tasks required for the efficient and timely completion of the monthly financial closing procedures.
• Review accounts payable invoices and expense reports for accuracy: Examine incoming accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports to confirm their correctness and adherence to company policies before processing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, marking an entry-level professional ready to apply academic knowledge in a practical accounting environment.
• Experience: Demonstrate 0-1 years of accounting experience, which may include valuable internships, showcasing foundational exposure to accounting principles and practices.
• Skills: Exhibit strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing its capabilities for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
• Bonus: A preferred academic achievement includes a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher, reflecting strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
