The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at J.B. Poindexter & Co., requiring flexibility for relocation across several manufacturing hubs during a two-year program, and for a permanent placement in the US. JBPCO is a large diversified manufacturing company producing commercial truck bodies, step-vans, utility trucks, ambulances, electric and alternative fuel vehicles, and expandable foam plastic packaging. This program is critical for identifying and developing future senior leaders in operations and supply chain to support the company’s continued organizational growth.

• Mission: Identify and develop future operations or supply chain leaders to drive organizational growth within the company’s manufacturing businesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Engage in a comprehensive two-year rotation program designed for leadership development.
• Learn: Spend six months in an operations or supply chain position to understand the business unit’s functions.
• Develop: Create and follow an Individual Development Plan to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
• Connect: Gain direct access to senior leaders across various company subsidiaries and the corporate office.
• Lead: Upon program completion, assume a leadership position in a manufacturing location within the United States.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Obtain an M.B.A. degree by 2025-2026 from an accredited four-year university with a focus on operations, supply chain, business, or entrepreneurship. This role targets future Senior Manager, Director, or Vice President levels.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on supply chain or mechanical engineering experience on the plant floor for a discrete manufacturer (e.g., automotive, machinery, durable goods). Demonstrate measurable achievements in manufacturing, preferably in management or leadership roles, before or after an advanced degree, across operations, supply chain, or engineering functions.
• Skills: Exhibit a proven ability to build strong and lasting professional relationships. Hold prior leadership positions in academic or professional settings.
• Bonus: Preferably maintain a G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher. Demonstrate willingness to be flexible regarding location during and after the program, as relocation may be required.
