The TL;DR
• Role: Internship

• Mission: Provide accounting and administrative support in all areas of accounting for the group.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile assigned bank accounts accurately and promptly.
• Financial Transactions: Post, print, and obtain signatures on checks as required.
• Data Integrity: Maintain accurate image records of all items posted to the General Ledger.
• Reporting Assistance: Run General Ledger Account schedules on a monthly basis.
• Document Management: Scan, e-file, and verify the completeness of various documents.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Completion of a minimum of 9 hours of basic and intermediate accounting, specifically Intermediate Accounting I & II.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking skills, ability to learn rapidly, detail-oriented and organized, proficient in Windows Office Suite (Excel and Word), effective written and verbal communication skills, and a licensed driver meeting insurance agency motor vehicle record requirements.
• Bonus: Classification as a Senior in the current degree plan.
