2027 ALLEX Engineering | Air Liquide

The Tone:
This is a full-time rotational program at Air Liquide, located in multiple locations across the US, starting in Houston, TX. Air Liquide is a world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Health, present in 80 countries with approximately 66,000 employees. This program is designed to introduce college students to Air Liquide and the industrial gas industry, providing vital solutions for customers’ industrial production and sustainability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in a 24-month ALLEX Rotational Program, designed to introduce participants to Air Liquide and the industrial gas industry.
• Complete three, eight-month job assignments, rotating across Technical, Operations, Project, or Business functions.
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to develop critical industry knowledge and practical skills.
• Work on challenging projects that foster innovation and creative thinking within the industrial gas environment.
• Transition into a full-time plant engineering or technical role within the organization upon successful completion of the program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an expected graduation of May 2027, maintaining a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.2.
• Experience: Previous Co-op or Intern experience is required. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, excellent oral and written communication, and effective interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines. Detail-oriented problem-solving and decision-making skills, with comfort and ability to work within ambiguity.
• Bonus: Experience in the industrial gas industry.
