The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at PwC, a leading global professional services organization. This role matters as it provides hands-on experience in financial markets and tax consulting within PwC’s Assurance practice. Interns support teams in delivering independent and objective assessments, helping clients navigate complex financial instruments and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support teams in delivering financial market assurance services to clients.
• Participate in projects focused on financial reporting and decision-making processes.
• Conduct research and perform basic tasks to assist in audit and advisory services.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to gain exposure to PwC’s practices and methodologies.
• Apply accounting policies and ensure compliance with accounting standards in assigned tasks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation, considered an entry-level role for individuals typically in their third or fourth year of study.
• Experience: Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
• Skills: At least a 3.0 overall GPA, ability to apply accounting policies, and a foundational understanding of financial reporting.
• Bonus: Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA, experience participating in financial markets assurance projects, and an ability to apply a learning mindset to develop skills.
