Audit & Assurance Intern – Spring 2028 | CCK Strategies

The Tone:
This is an internship at CCK Strategies, located in In-person Tulsa, OK. CCK is a collaborative firm that provides challenging work, professional development, and generous compensation. The Audit & Assurance team partners with clients across all stages of their organization’s life cycle to add value and provide quality assurance services. This role is vital for executing detailed work plans, cultivating relationships, and demonstrating inquisitiveness to master basic accounting concepts within a supportive environment.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person Tulsa, OK
• Team: Audit & Assurance, assisting Staff and Seniors under supervision of a Manager.
• Mission: To support the Audit & Assurance team by preparing workpapers, maintaining current standards, and identifying risks, while cultivating client relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepares engagement workpapers in collaboration with Staff and Seniors.
• Documents workpapers meticulously, adhering to both firm and industry standards.
• Stays informed and current with evolving audit and accounting standards.
• Identifies and communicates potential areas of risk within engagement teams, applying basic accounting principles.
• Manages and completes assigned sections of engagements within budgeted parameters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience explicitly required for this internship role.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, effective time management, critical thinking with independent problem-solving abilities, adaptability to various projects, and mastery of basic accounting concepts.
• Bonus: Able to travel to client locations both locally and occasionally out of state as needed.
