What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Lead end-to-end design and delivery of integration solutions using MuleSoft, Spring boot, microservices, and API-led architectures.
• Standards: Define and enforce best practices for API design, integration patterns, and reusable component development.
• Architecture: Architect and implement scalable integration solutions on AWS leveraging cloud-native services.
• Modernize: Drive modernization of legacy integrations into decoupled microservices and API-based ecosystems.
• Lead: Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams across onshore/offshore models.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior professional with 7–10 years in integration architecture, development, and delivery, and a solid understanding of the financial services or insurance domain.
• Experience: Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions, with strong expertise in MuleSoft, Spring boot, API-led connectivity, and hands-on experience building microservices and distributed systems on AWS.
• Skills: MuleSoft (Design, Development, API Manager, Runtime Fabric), AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, Glue, MSK, API Gateway, S3, ECS/EKS, Step Functions), Microservices architecture & distributed system design, API design concepts (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, governance), DevOps & CI/CD (Git, Jenkins/Harness DevOps, automated testing frameworks).
• Bonus: Experience in Finance / Insurance domain (Policy Admin, ACORD standards), AI-first development approach (use of AI-assisted coding, automation, or intelligent workflows), knowledge of event streaming platforms (Kafka, MQ), familiarity with security standards (OAuth2, JWT, Zero Trust architecture), and exposure to observability tools (New Relic, CloudWatch, PageDuty).
