Summer 2027 Accounting Intern | F.N.B. Corporation

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Contribute to month-end financial reporting deliverables, including financial close packets, 10-Q drafts, earnings release drafts, investor and committee presentation materials, and call reports.
• Accounting Operations & Systems: Prepare daily reconciliations, perform accounts payable processing, provide support for lease and fixed asset accounting, and familiarize with FNB’s accounting systems and processes.
• Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of FNB’s tax returns and Schedule M-3.
• Internal Controls & Policy: Update existing accounting policies, perform accounting research tasks as needed, and assist with administering SOX 302 certifications and other ad hoc SOX tasks such as updating and documenting controls.
• Professional Development: Participate in FNB related events and trainings scheduled for all Summer Interns, and complete project assignments in conjunction with rotations under appropriate oversight.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Officially enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor program with a major in areas such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
• Experience: Minimum of zero years of experience is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to learn aggressively, be intellectually curious, and ask questions; strong analytical capabilities for decision-making; clear and effective written and oral communication skills, adaptable to various settings; proven ability to display teamwork and collaborate effectively to achieve group goals; accountability for results, managing risk, and meeting deadlines with quality output.
