Engineering Leadership Program Engineer (Class of 2027) | General Dynamics Mission Systems

This is an early career role at General Dynamics Mission Systems, located in Orlando, FL (hybrid). • Mission: Develop future engineering leaders to support critical defense and scientific missions through diverse technical rotations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Participate in several cross-functional team rotations within Orlando, FL, supporting Intel/Electronic Warfare (EW) & Threat Systems, Live Training Systems, and Training Technologies.
• Develop: Complete a technical Master’s degree while progressing through the program.
• Train: Undergo internal training specific to General Dynamics Mission Systems’ operations and technologies.
• Engage: Be actively involved in community engagement initiatives.
• Network: Establish a strong professional network with colleagues and leaders throughout the company.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Zero to three years of related work experience, previous internship or project work in your discipline, and demonstrated leadership experience. Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
• Skills: Strong Technical Background, strong Interpersonal Skills, demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
• Bonus: A GPA of at least 3.2 (3.6 preferred), a passion for supporting those who serve, learning and applying new concepts, community involvement, and the ability to identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
