Client Accountant-Entry Level | CSC

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at CSC, located in Livingston, NJ, requiring three days per week onsite. CSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company with over 8,000 colleagues across more than 140 jurisdictions, known as ‘the business behind business.’ This entry-level Client Accountant position is vital for delivering superior fund administration services to private equity clients by managing multiple client deliverables effectively and contributing to the firm’s commitment to client success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Financials: Prepare financial statements and their supporting schedules, adhering to GAAP and other bases.
• Process Capital Movements: Prepare calculations for capital calls and distributions, then create and send out the corresponding letters.
• Ensure Compliance: Conduct investor and compliance reporting activities.
• Engage Clients: Interact with clients daily to support their needs.
• Manage Internal Tasks: Fulfill internal responsibilities, including status reports and time tracking.

The Must-Haves
• Background: BS Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience.
• Skills: Working knowledge of US GAAP, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges), professional verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
• Bonus: CPA or CPA candidate preferred, experience in portfolio/investment and partnership accounting, and Investran experience.
