Business Manager – Marex Solutions COO Team – VP | Marex

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Marex. Marex Group is a diversified global financial services platform that provides essential liquidity, market access, and infrastructure services across energy, commodities, and financial markets. Marex Solutions is a division focused on investment banking solutions with a fintech approach, aiming to be a leading manufacturer of cross-asset, customised derivatives. This role is crucial for building the operational infrastructure and defining the strategy to support the rapid growth of the Marex Solutions business.

• Mission: Build operational infrastructure, support rapid growth, and define the strategy for the Marex Solutions business.
• Tech Stack: Excel, MS Office, AI tools (interest in using)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Initiatives: Deliver new sales initiatives, including launching new products or business lines.
• Operations: Manage daily ad-hoc requests from Sales and contribute to day-to-day operations and process improvements.
• Automation: Support and drive change for the Marex Solutions Sales team by identifying opportunities for automation and technological advancements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Front Office, Support, and Control stakeholders to implement business initiatives within a controlled and sustainable framework.
• Projects: Support the delivery of critical Sales projects by establishing project plans, defining scope, and ensuring successful execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior-level professional with prior experience in Business Management, Front Office Sales, or Relationship Management within financial services, or a middle office operational function.
• Experience: 8-12 years’ prior experience.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, significant problem-solving and organisational abilities, very strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Bonus: A keen interest in using AI tools to enhance business builds.
