NeuroPsych Regional Patient Access Manager, Blue Ridge | Neurocrine Biosciences
The Tone:
This is a full-time regional role at Neurocrine Biosciences, supporting the Blue Ridge area. Neurocrine Biosciences is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing treatments for neurological, psychiatric, endocrine, and immunological disorders. This role is crucial for ensuring patients can access life-changing treatments by providing essential support and education to healthcare professionals and maintaining a robust pharmacy distribution network. Your work will directly accelerate time to treatment and relieve suffering for patients in great need.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide field access support and education to Healthcare Professionals to maximize patient access and accelerate time to treatment for Company products.
• Communicate with all Specialty Pharmacies, Closed Door Pharmacies, and Patient-Physician Services partners in support of Neurocrine Biosciences marketed products.
• Build and uphold the integrity of the Neurocrine Biosciences pharmacy distribution network by conducting all vetting activities within an assigned geography.
• Educate Healthcare Professionals on payer-specific coverage policies, documentation requirements, appeals processes, and Company patient financial support programs.
• Monitor distribution network processes using end-user feedback, propose new strategies for workflow, and share best practices with trade leadership on specialty distribution efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, coupled with 6+ years of pharma/biotech commercial experience.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in specialty pharmacy or market access, with specialty product experience (CNS preferred). Must have a strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, government payers, patient support programs, and the prescription adjudication process. Ability to travel overnight up to 60% is required.
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills. Strong project management abilities and adeptness at working in cross-functional environments.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree, MBA, PharmD, or PhD is preferred. Previous experience in other pharma/biotech functions such as sales, management, marketing, or managed markets is also desired.
