What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist with Engagements: Assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held businesses and various organizations.
• Document Findings: Prepare and organize workpapers diligently in accordance with professional standards.
• Conduct Analysis: Perform audit testing, reconciliations, and analytical procedures to validate financial information.
• Client Communication: Obtain, organize, and analyze financial information from clients, communicating professionally to gather data and resolve questions.
• Support Compliance: Support internal control evaluations and risk assessments, actively learning current accounting, auditing, and financial reporting standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience: 1-2 years of accounting or public accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have gained audit exposure.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
• Bonus: Progress toward CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is a plus.
