What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Operations: Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities, and support internal and external audit processes.
• Analysis: Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business.
• Improvement: Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and business processes.
• Technology: Utilize financial systems, data tools, and emerging AI technologies to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a degree program with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.
• Experience: Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship, and the ability to work onsite full-time at the Wichita, KS headquarters.
• Skills: An analytical mindset, an eagerness to learn and solve complex problems, and curiosity about how emerging technologies like AI can improve decision-making.
• Bonus: Previous internship, co-op, leadership, or work experience; exposure to financial reporting, auditing, tax, cost accounting, or corporate accounting; experience leveraging Excel or similar analytical tools for data analysis; demonstrated initiative through student organizations, leadership roles, or community involvement.
