• Mission: Own the accuracy and consistency of financial data, supporting monthly and yearly closings, and ensuring reliable financial reporting for management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Operations: Contribute to daily accounting activities within Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including identifying and escalating discrepancies to ensure alignment with customers and suppliers.
• General Ledger Management: Create and enter journal entries as assigned and perform reconciliations for both bank statements and general ledger accounts, escalating any inconsistencies.
• Period-End Closings: Actively contribute to monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closing activities.
• Audit and Reporting Support: Provide necessary transaction backup documentation for audit activities and assist with ad hoc reporting requests.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate Degree or equivalent education and experience in accounting or a related financial field.
• Experience: Hands-on experience working with general ledgers is required. One to three years of related experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, excellent problem-solving skills, proficiency with ERP and Microsoft Office systems, ability to organize and prioritize work effectively, and exceptional internal and external customer service.
• Bonus: One year of accounting experience and one year of manufacturing experience.
