What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger: Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Close Activities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze expenses and variances against budget and prior periods.
• Reporting & Compliance: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, support inventory and fixed asset accounting activities, and ensure compliance with company policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), strong analytical and reconciliation skills, attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Public accounting internship or corporate accounting experience, experience with ERP systems, a self-motivated approach with a desire for long-term career growth, and a collaborative team player mindset.
