What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Processing: Process invoices, payment requests, and expense reports accurately and within required timelines.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain organized accounts payable records and all necessary supporting documentation.
• Financial Support: Assist the finance department with reconciliations, various reporting needs, and other administrative tasks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with external vendors and internal partners regarding payment status and to resolve discrepancies.
• Process Compliance: Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. This role requires foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, or accounts payable principles.
• Experience: At least 1 year of relevant accounting, finance, or accounts payable experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
