This is an early career development program at Cargill, located in multiple US locations including Olathe/Kansas City, KS; Amarillo, TX; Shippensburg, PA; and Wayzata/Minneapolis, MN. The TL;DR

• Pay: $74000 yearly
• Team: Entry-level functional expert completing a 12-18 month training program within Cargill’s Animal Nutrition business, with placements in functions such as Strategic Pricing, Supply Chain, Commodity Merchandising, Feed Formulation, Sourcing, Strategic Marketing and Technology, or Data and Business Analytics.
• Mission: Complete an intensive training program to gain strategic and tactical business concepts, leading to key individual contributor or supervisory roles within Cargill Animal Nutrition.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Pricing: Learn and positively impact strategic pricing initiatives and decisions.
• Supply Chain: Develop understanding and contribute to supply chain strategy and execution.
• Formulation & Merchandising: Acquire knowledge and make contributions in feed formulation, commodity merchandising, trading, risk management, and sourcing.
• Marketing & Data: Engage with strategic marketing, technology, and data and business analytics to drive business insights and solutions.
• Business Operations & Culture: Develop understanding of business financials, employee engagement, plant operations, customers, and business culture.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, ag economics, business analytics, animal science or a related degree, with graduation between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Experience: Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer, and willingness and ability to relocate.
• Skills: Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures; solve complex problems through collaboration, creativity, and determination; strong analytical skills and aptitude to conceptualize the big picture while diving into details; ability to take calculated risks and execute decisively; strong written and oral communication skills; and the ability to contribute both as part of a team and individually.
• Bonus: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
