The Tone:
This is an Entry Level role at Jobot. Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage financial records and support an accounting team. This position is crucial for maintaining financial order and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, offering a clear path to kickstart a career in finance within a supportive work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Record: Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process accurately.
• Verify: Verify transactions are correctly entered into all relevant ledgers (daybook, suppliers’, customer, general).
• Process: Process accounts receivable, payable, and manage payroll in a timely manner.
• Generate: Generate financial statements and reports, while maintaining organized accounting records.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with the accounting team to assist in developing forecasts and budgets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. This role is open to recent graduates.
• Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping, with an ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records effectively.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and accounting software packages. Requires strong data entry, accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
