The Tone:
This is a full-time Accounting Manager role at a Top #10 National CPA firm, located in Los Angeles, CA (Westwood Area) with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days WFH). Our client is a highly-ranked national CPA firm dedicated to serving a diverse client base with comprehensive financial solutions. This position is vital for managing client accounting needs, encompassing bookkeeping, tax preparation, and client service. The Accounting Manager will contribute directly to the firm’s ability to provide essential financial expertise and support to its clients.
The TL;DR

• Mission: This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely client accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation services for a diverse client base.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Excel, accounting technologies
What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and assist with corporate tax returns and related tax filings.
• Client Accounting: Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple clients.
• Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Ledger Management: Maintain and analyze general ledger activity.
• Data Accuracy: Collect, review, and enter client financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level. High School Diploma or GED required, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes.
• Experience: 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or tax experience, including proficiency with accounting technologies and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Skills: Bookkeeping principles, accounting processes, accounting technologies, Microsoft Office, Excel.
• Bonus: Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in public accounting, client accounting services (CAS), or outsourced accounting environments.
