Staff Accountant | Envision
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Envision, located in Nashville, TN, with monthly in-person meetings required. The Staff Accountant plays an integral role in the Company’s financial close process, ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger and supporting critical accounting functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepares and posts journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation for financial transactions.
• Account Reconciliation: Analyzes various balance sheet accounts and prepares corresponding reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Data Analysis: Retrieves, processes, and analyzes financial data from diverse sources to support accounting operations.
• Schedule Maintenance: Maintains accurate and current supporting accounting schedules for ongoing financial records.
• Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborates effectively with team members across the company and adheres to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university is required. Entry-level understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is essential.
• Experience: No prior experience is required, though 0-2 years of public accounting or industry experience is preferred.
• Skills: Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: CPA preferred.
