This firm specializes in offering a variety of securities products and providing financial advice to its clients. The Staff Accountant plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of the firm by ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively support the broader accounting team and contribute to the firm’s financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare timely and accurate financial accounting data across a variety of operational areas within the firm.
• Work in close collaboration with department heads to thoroughly understand all financial reporting activities and ensure their accuracy.
• Provide essential support in the comprehensive preparation process for the firm’s financial statements.
• Coordinate and assist with the efficient distribution of financial statements to relevant internal and external parties.
• Develop detailed financial statements and all necessary supporting schedules in line with the established monthly close timetable.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a core financial discipline such as Accounting, Economics, or Finance, suitable for an entry-level position.
• Experience: This role requires 0 to 2 years of professional experience specifically within an accounting function.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, alongside proven analytical and organizational capabilities.
