What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare routine journal entries and support monthly financial reporting efforts.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any identified discrepancies.
• Month-End Close: Support month-end close activities and execute recurring accounting tasks.
• Audit & Tax Support: Assist with documentation requests for both internal and external audits, as well as tax purposes.
• Data Management: Code invoices, maintain the accuracy of the general ledger, and update accounting records, commission/KPI files, and financial master data.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. This is an early-career role in accounting.
• Experience: Previous office or administrative experience, along with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: A basic understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset are required. A commitment to providing outstanding service to internal and external customers is also essential.
• Bonus: Prior experience working with an ERP system.
