The Tone:

The Staff Accountant is critical for ensuring accurate financial operations, supporting both the company and its network of franchisees. This position directly contributes to franchisee success by maintaining reliable financial data and supporting business growth.

• Mission: This person ensures precise financial record-keeping and supports the financial health and compliance for both ResiBrands and its franchisees.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Operations: Record and reconcile general ledger entries for day-to-day financial activities.
• Transactional Support: Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare routine financial reports and maintain accurate financial records.
• Close Processes: Support month-end and year-end close procedures and help ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Franchisee & Team Support: Respond to financial inquiries from franchisees and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, demonstrating strong foundational accounting skills including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and familiarity with GAAP.
• Experience: Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools (Netsuite and Quickbooks are required), along with intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, prepare accurate reports, solid organizational and time-management skills, and clear written and verbal communication for internal collaboration and franchisee support.
• Bonus: CPA eligibility or certification is a plus, as is previous experience in multi-entity, franchise, or small-to-medium business environments.
