• Mission: Owns the daily transactional accounting and financial record keeping to ensure smooth business operations.
• Tech Stack: QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, LMN

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Prepares daily and weekly bank deposits and maintains accurate cash records.
• Reconciliation & Invoicing: Completes monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and creates and sends customer invoices for maintenance and construction services.
• Accounts Receivable/Payable: Tracks accounts receivable, sends customer statements, supports basic collections, enters accounts payable bills, matches them to purchase orders and receipts, and flags discrepancies.
• Job Costing & Month-End Support: Assists with job costing, labor allocation, material coding, and supports month-end close with schedules, accruals, and cleanup tasks.
• Process Improvement & Communication: Communicates with customers, vendors, and internal supervisors to ensure financial details are accurate and timely, and helps streamline and document accounting processes.

• Background: Entry-Level accounting professional with an interest in building an accounting career within an operations-driven business.
• Experience: Comfort working with QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
• Skills: Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable; clear communication with field teams, leadership, customers, and vendors; enjoys seeing how accounting connects to real operations, jobs, and crews.
• Bonus: An interest in the landscape, construction, or outdoor living industries; willingness to learn LMN software; desire for meaningful, hands-on experience in a local business.
