What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Strategic Solutions: Lead the investment process for the Team’s clients by developing comprehensive portfolio solutions, which includes creating strategic asset allocation models and formulating tactical asset allocation recommendations based on the firm’s institutional asset management leadership views.
• Drive Portfolio Optimization: Drive the investment process and provide essential expertise to construct optimal and customized portfolios for private wealth clientele, ensuring they align with client financial goals.
• Conduct Deep Analysis and Research: Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses on various investment topics, build necessary financial models, and actively contribute to the creation of presentations, white papers, and articles that communicate market outlook broadly.
• Engage and Advise Clients: Regularly present complex investment strategies, market outlook views, and comprehensive portfolio solutions to both existing clients and prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Implement Firm-Wide Expertise: Implement customized investment solutions for clients that effectively utilize the institutional capabilities of the firm’s Investment Strategy Group as well as the specialized knowledge of the Asset Allocation Committee.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience constructing diverse portfolios on behalf of high-net-worth clients or institutions. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of asset allocation, robust portfolio construction methodologies, and sophisticated manager selection processes.
• Experience: A proven track record of developing customized portfolio solutions for clients by utilizing both proprietary and third-party managers. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively partner with Advisors to present, consult, and advise HNW clients, guiding them towards their financial objectives.
• Skills: Requires superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with strong investment expertise to navigate complex financial markets. Essential communication skills include effective verbal presentation, clear written articulation of investment views, and the ability to build models for quantitative analysis. A keen understanding of the global macro environment, the global economy, and other factors impacting investment management strategies is also critical.
• Licenses: Candidates are required to hold current SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses before starting the role. Applicants must also be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.
