The Tone:

As a Staff Accountant – Quote to Cash, you will use your accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting and support technology that strengthens communities and enhances accountability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Entry: Ensure timely and accurate order entry by integrating closed CRM deals into NetSuite and reviewing contracts for policy compliance.
• Billing Schedules: Create billing schedules for new orders based on payment terms outlined in client agreements.
• Revenue Recognition: Create revenue arrangements and run monthly revenue recognition processes to facilitate the monthly close.
• Revenue Analysis: Lead monthly revenue reviews with management, performing trend and other analysis to identify and explain significant revenue movements.
• Account Reconciliations: Prepare and maintain unbilled AR and deferred revenue reconciliations, addressing issues and reporting to management for process improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance. This is an experienced Staff Accountant role requiring core domain knowledge in revenue and ASC606.
• Experience: 5+ years of previous accounting experience, including specific experience in revenue and with ASC606. Experience in a SaaS organization is strongly preferred, especially with revenue recognition policies and processes.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong understanding of key accounting principles and practical applications, strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Bonus: CPA or CPA-candidate.
