Staff Practice Accountant (Service Revenue) | OneOncology

• Team: Reports to the Manager of Practice Accounting within a specific functional pod on the operational accounting team.
• Mission: This person ensures the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and reporting, contributing to the organization’s financial health and supporting its mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Support Month-End Close: Assist with monthly close activities, including consolidations and preparation of financial statements.
• Aid Financial Analysis: Support the Senior Accountant and Manager in variance analysis and financial reviews.
• Maintain Documentation: Maintain organized supporting documentation for all accounting transactions and analyses.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and US GAAP.
• Experience: 0-4+ years of accounting experience, including knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Skills: Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Bonus: Active CPA license or working toward CPA license, working knowledge of Workday or other ERP platforms, Master’s degree preferred.
