Management Trainee – Traverse City | Enterprise

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Enterprise, located in Traverse City, MI. Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands through an integrated global network. This organization manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles and offers extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, travel management, and other transportation services. The Management Trainee role is fundamental to the company’s growth, as individuals learn the core business from day one, serving as both a customer-facing representative and an operational expert to eventually run a branch and develop teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Operations: Learn Enterprise Mobility’s business from the ground up, based out of a neighborhood branch.
• Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary representative of Enterprise to customers and external partners.
• Operational Expertise: Function as the behind-the-scenes expert for daily operational tasks and procedures.
• Skill Development: Master customer service, sales and marketing, financial management, and operational processes.
• Community Building: Engage with the community to establish relationships vital for building and growing business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, requiring a Bachelor’s degree or being within one semester of graduating with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of experience (within the last 5 years) in one of the following: commission sales or sales with set goals/bonus potential, customer service within a sales industry (e.g., retail, restaurant, hospitality), participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional, or collegiate team, or a leadership role in military, clubs, or organizations.
• Skills: Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years, and no drug or alcohol-related convictions (DWI/DUI) on the driving record in the past five years. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
