The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WebstaurantStore, located in McCarran, Nevada, following an 8-week rotational training program. WebstaurantStore is the foodservice professional’s premier source for restaurant equipment, supplies, and knowledge online, empowering businesses to operate more profitably and efficiently. This leadership trainee role is crucial for developing our business and meeting the purchasing needs of foodservice professionals worldwide by ensuring efficient distribution center operations and supply chain management. The program is designed to prepare individuals for a direct leadership position within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Immersion: Experience each segment of day-to-day operations from inbound to outbound, including receiving, picking, packing, consolidating, shipping, inventory control, and returns.
• Problem Solving: Develop practical solutions to operational problems without sacrificing quality standards.
• Performance Management: Meet daily, weekly, and monthly department goals for the distribution center.
• Team Development: Coach and train employees on best practices to achieve high performance standards.
• Process Improvement: Analyze opportunities for growth, cost reduction, damage reduction, and efficiency improvements, continually improving productivity targets and processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Leadership Trainee with interest in a leadership career in operations and supply chain management; no degree required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience working with a team of more than 15 employees preferred.
• Skills: Initiative to work with minimal instruction, self-starter mentality, proficiency with MS Office, analytical thinking and problem-solving, strong written and oral communication skills, and business proficiency in English.
• Bonus: Experience working in a distribution environment; passion for supply chain management and constant process improvement; ability to quickly adapt as business needs change and address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence.
