What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and investigate any identified variances.
• General Ledger Management: Review and prepare journal entries, maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Financial Planning Support: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards, and assist with external audits.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. This role requires foundational knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis, including practical experience with account reconciliations and ERP/accounting systems.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Bonus: Experience using AI tools.
