What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Accounting Management: Manage comprehensive construction accounting activities across multiple projects.
• Financial Record Keeping: Process all construction-related invoices and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
• Cost Control and Monitoring: Perform detailed job cost coding and continuously monitor project costs to ensure financial integrity.
• Accounts Payable Administration: Administer construction accounts payable, oversee vendor payment processes, and track paid-when-paid payment requirements.
• Compliance Documentation: Review and maintain essential documentation such as Certificates of Insurance (COIs), lien waivers, and other vendor compliance records.
• Month-End Support: Assist with critical month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated understanding of construction accounting principles.
• Experience: 1-3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Skills: Project cost coding, accounts payable administration, financial record maintenance, vendor compliance review, and general ledger support.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
