What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Understanding: Analyze customer health, adoption, and usage data to identify churn risks, value opportunities, and expansion signals.
• Opportunity Generation: Identify, qualify, and engage potential new customers, then manage prospects through the full sales cycle from conversation to contract.
• Customer Relationship Management: Work with existing customers to ensure they continue to see value in Sage’s solutions, securing contract renewals and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Value Communication: Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations that translate complex software solutions into clear business value.
• Performance Analysis: Manage a pipeline of opportunities, tracking activity and progress in Sage’s CRM, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and report on performance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, supporting an early career entry into sales excellence.
• Experience: No specific years required for this graduate program; prior customer-facing, sales, or commercial experience is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working with data, including pipeline metrics and the financial drivers of a business.
• The ability to build trusted relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners, adapting communication style to different audiences.
• A proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset, with curiosity about how businesses work and the confidence to keep improving.
• An interest in technology, AI tools, and how software can help customers solve real business challenges.
• Bonus: A Business, Management, or Marketing degree.
