Finance Assistant | Draftomat

The Tone:
This is a full-time, 100% remote role at Draftomat, open to candidates across the United States. Draftomat supports various customer service, scheduling, gardening, and landscape-related operations, alongside order coordination, project support, and vendor administration. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial records and maintaining organized financial administration across various company operations. The Finance Assistant will provide essential support to the teams responsible for financial processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of Draftomat’s financial data.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Financial Records: Enter and organize approved financial transactions, invoices, receipts, expense records, and supporting documents, while maintaining organized finance files, schedules, and trackers.
• Reconciliation Support: Assist with account reconciliations and investigate routine discrepancies following established procedures.
• Prepare Reports: Prepare recurring financial summaries, payment status reports, and spreadsheet updates for the Draftomat team.
• Coordinate Documentation: Coordinate routine finance questions or missing documentation with appropriate internal teams while supporting customer scheduling and service operations.
• Protect Confidentiality: Safeguard confidential banking, customer, vendor, and company financial information as part of day-to-day responsibilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level.
• Experience: Comfort using accounting or finance systems, spreadsheets, and shared documents.
• Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, excellent organization, and meticulous attention to detail; clear written communication and reliable follow-through on information requests; high discretion when handling financial records.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of bookkeeping, invoices, expenses, payments, or reconciliations.
