What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Management: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate and complete supporting documentation in assigned accounting areas such as cash, debt, intercompany, fixed assets, product costing, or lease accounting.
• Reconciliation & Resolution: Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and actively resolve any open or reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Close & Reporting Support: Complete assigned month-end close tasks within established deadlines and assist in preparing financial reporting packages, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Audit & Controls: Provide supporting documentation and analysis for audit requests, including control documentation, ensuring compliance with company policy and internal controls.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline accounting processes, reduce manual effort, and support the documentation of desktop procedures and accounting policies, potentially using AI tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, with a basic understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience: 0–2 years of accounting experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas), strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with SAP and BlackLine, familiarity with AI tools, a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic finance environment, and intent to pursue CPA certification.
