What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Command: Develop and sustain a foundational command of revenue cycle management and hospital billing protocols.
• Participate: Remain fully engaged and participate in all hands-on practice sessions and group activities.
• Achieve Grades: Maintain an 80% average or higher throughout the internship, with a passing grade by the midterm required to continue the program.
• Complete Tasks: Complete all classwork and homework assignments on time, adhering to all classroom and company policies.
• Support Department: Utilize any downtime to assist with departmental needs or to catch up on personal training and education.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School graduate or GED.
• Experience: No specific experience required, but prior billing experience is preferred.
• Skills: Basic computer skills; demonstrated time management skills with the ability to balance coursework, clinical assignments, and departmental needs.
• Bonus: Prior billing experience is preferred.
