Senior Director of Enterprise Data Partners (EDP) – Finance | Mount Sinai Health System
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mount Sinai Health System, located in New York, NY. Mount Sinai is one of the largest academic medical systems in the New York metro area, dedicated to advancing health and transforming healthcare through patient care, education, and innovation. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for the development, governance, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics products supporting revenue cycle, finance strategy, and accounting across the health system. It is critical for improving financial performance and operational decision-making for the enterprise.

• Team: Leads multidisciplinary teams of data product managers, data analysts, and developers/data science analysts, partnering with executive finance leadership.
• Mission: To deliver trusted enterprise data and analytics products that improve financial performance and operational decision-making for the Mount Sinai Health System.
• Tech Stack: Epic, EMRs, healthcare data warehousing, AI/ML applications
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy: Define and execute the enterprise data product strategy for finance, aligning initiatives to health system priorities and measurable business outcomes.
• Product Ownership: Own and scale a portfolio of enterprise data products and sources of truth, ensuring product vision, adoption, standardization, and measurable impact.
• Executive Partnership: Partner with Finance executives to translate strategic priorities into data product roadmaps and clear delivery timelines.
• Data Integration: Oversee integration and optimization of internal and external data assets, including EMR, claims, and benchmarking data, enabling longitudinal and cross-continuum analytics.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, fostering a product-oriented culture of innovation, accountability, and agility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Computer/Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 15 years of progressive information systems management experience, preferably in a healthcare field. 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality reporting and data science, with at least 5 years in finance or revenue cycle analytics for an academic health system or teaching hospital.
• Skills: Expertise in healthcare finance and related software, data, and tools; demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale analytics or data product organizations; ability to establish product roadmaps and promote Agile delivery; experience with data governance.
• Bonus: Master’s or Doctoral degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MS in Data Science, PhD, MD with finance/analytics experience); background or certification in healthcare quality, informatics, or data science; familiarity with Epic or other EMRs, healthcare data warehousing, and academic research collaboration platforms.
