Global Supply Chain Rotational Program | Weber Blackstone

The Tone:
This is a full-time Global Supply Chain Rotational Program, with rotations potentially based in Palatine, IL, Huntley, IL, and/or Elgin, IL, employing a hybrid office/work-from-home schedule. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of the Supply Chain & Operations organization through diverse roles, providing hands-on experience and preparing participants for accelerated leadership positions within the company.

• Team: Participants rotate through various Supply Chain & Operations teams, reporting to different leaders.
• Mission: The program aims to develop future leaders within Weber’s global Supply Chain organization by providing broad experience and accelerated growth opportunities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supply and Production Planning: Manage inventory, production schedules, and demand forecasts to ensure material availability and on-time order fulfillment.
• Strategic Sourcing: Lead sourcing efforts for raw materials, components, and services, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
• Operations Leadership: Supervise direct line employees within manufacturing or distribution environments, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe workload completion.
• Global Logistics: Coordinate the global movement of products, managing warehouse operations, customer logistics, and order fulfillment strategies.
• Quality and Cost Leadership: Inform manufacturing strategy, lead cost improvement initiatives, and implement continuous improvement projects focused on productivity and quality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Planning, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management, engineering, and/or manufacturing is desired.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities, and effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bonus: Experience in SAP or other ERP systems.
